What To Expect When You Receive Your New Denture

It's also normal to experience more saliva than usual at first — this is only temporary. Speaking clearly and eating comfortably will feel natural within a few days to weeks as you adapt.

Taking care of your dentures

Rinse your dentures after eating and brush them daily to prevent stains and bacteria. Soak your dentures in water when not wearing them and at least once a week in the recommended denture cleaner. Take your dentures out at bedtime to allow the gums and jawbone to rest, helping prevent irritation and bone resorption.
